I'm planning on buying the trilogy. I have a trail account right now. Will I be able to upgrade my trail account so I can use all three campaigns in the same character?

Yes. Everything on your trial account will remain the same when you upgrade your account.

Just buy it through the in-game store and you will gain instant access on your account using all the characters you have already made ;-)

If you purchase the game from a retailer other than ArenaNet or NCSoft, then just use the "Add a Key" function on your log-in screen. Add your new Trilogy key and it will upgrade your account without disturbing your character(s).
